Drank the 2010 in Jan 2021 with penne bolognese. Big and fruit forward with dark cherry and a surprising touch of nuttiness on the back.

Silky tannins, a hint of that barnyard funk and also a bit of green pepper (cab franc?) and vegetal character. Delightful.

Dope. One of the better Merlots I've tried. Mild pepper, prunes maybe? Smooth, strong, earthy.

Surprisingly good for price.
Typical new world style. Candy apple with oak nose. Mild acid, mild-mod tannins with richness and vanilla coming from the oak. Jammy but with pretty subdued black currant and sultanas.
