@OsoyoosLarose Red Blend. Incredible. Dried black fruits. Cassis. Forest floor. Leather. Seriously sets a standard for Southern Okanagan reds. #wbc13

Even better than the last bottle we opened 42 weeks ago. Paired with BBQ Ribeye and risotto con funghi. A solid performer with lots of life left. My last remaining ‘08 will be saved for a vertical tasting I’ve been dreaming about.

A joint effort between a BC winery and chateaux gruand larose, a merlot based blend. Nose is decent with crushed berries, and vanilla, palate of dark fruits and a tannic finish. Not enough fruit in the middle. Tastes rather simple. I really want to like this wine but not as good as the Bordeaux sister.
