2013. Balanced and pure. Impressive freshness of fruit for the very sunny and hot subzone in Montsant called Masroig.

Impressive!

Bit leesy. Not quite clean. Mutes fruit.

Nice tannins. Really lovely. At $33 not bad.

Study wine. Ripe blackberry and dark cherry, violets, and serious minerality. 14% on the label; carries it extremely well thanks to bright acid, young fruit character, and fine tannins.

Magnum one

hot and funky but blew off after a few hours. Cherries, cranberry and baking spices. Good acid and minerality.

Needs to breathe and then the structure and spice come through. Which is weird.

Solidly built #samso #garnacha blend from #montsant - after 4 days open shows vibrant red cherry & plum with minerals.
