Pipa Alentejano Tinta Roriz Blend
Medium to deep ruby red. A touch savory on the nose. Dark and layered on the palate with a touch of earthiness. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Dark dusty red berries, even a little black fruits on the end with a touch of minerality. Dry medium plus finish. Excellent value. Drink till 2022.
Only 600 cases produced. $21.00

I realize I'm off the mean score on this wine, but it's simply flat when compared to other Alentajano wine. Nice blackberry jam but no consistent structure. You can do better in Portugal with Alentajano, dao, Lisboa etc at this price point ($16)
