10 years on and this js not going to a better place. I’m impressed with the fruit, but that’s it. No tertiary notes. Heat on the nose and finish.

PnP. Dark purple, almost black color. Blackberries, orange peels, and a smell from my youth I can’t place right now on the nose. Alcohol definitely present on the palate but nice texture with a meaty/Rhone flavor. Medium plus depth and long finish. Better than expected.

Starts cloying sweet. Burnt vanilla cotton candy. Overripe grapes. Kept sweet throughout the bottle. Pleasant to try, not my favorite.

Heavy vanilla. Enjoyed the latter sips from the bottle as opposed to the first, so could have used some time and/or decanting.
