After getting past the very strong tannins and high alcohol content, I guess it’s okay. I decanted for an hour but maybe it needs more time or maybe it’s too young. Kind of disappointed 🙁

Massive as always with Orin Swifts wines and definitely needs a decant. Decanted for about 45 minutes. Tasted after initially opening and it is a bull in a China shop. Calmed down after the decant, black fruits vanilla licorice and some herbal flavors on the palate. Very good!

Excellent Zinfandel blend. Full bodied, balanced, lush, dry, versatile. Good value. Outstanding wine with crab cakes and filet mignon. First time drinking the 2018.

The nose was not offensive or impressive to me. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy, peppery taste of this red blend. Delicious!

My third vintage. Still deep & bold. Very fruity, black fruits: a blackberry, cherry, ripe plum. Maybe a smoke. Spicy finish. I love this wine.

Very strong green pepper nose, bold dark currant color, with long legs surprisingly. It ia light in body, with the zin being the star. It is much mellower than the color and nose suggest. Nice, but not a standout.
