Fruity and smooth. Really smooth which surprised me. Glad to have experienced this after being a skeptic based on the funny label. It seems they take wine seriously so do not let the label fool you. Not a lot of body though....does not linger.

Not memorable but also not bad. Cute bottle and drinkable for the price.

Producer: Oreana Wines
2012 Project Happiness Syrah - California
Store: Trader Joes
Price: $5.99
Tastes: 9-24-14

Apperance: Clear, medium ruby.

Nose: Clean, light cherry and red raspberry, and gravel.

Palate: Dry, medium acidity and tannin. Medium-minus body. Flavors: Thin red fruit, stainless steel, gravel. Nondescript, lacks an identity. Medium finish.

Conclusion: Acceptable for $5.99

Commentary: I expected more. Props for label, and synthetic cork.

Project Happiness 2012 Syrah vintage from Oreana Winery CA. Pretty smooth for a Syrah no bitter after taste. It really does make you happy!

Lots of tannins but a meh taste. Decent for an everyday wine
