Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black plum with licorice, herbs and pepper spice. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit , spice and tobacco notes. Nice!

More earthy and mineral notes to it..not jammy like northern Zinfandels.

Well made but way overripe. More like port than a still wine. Glycerin dominates every aspect of the flavor and mouthfeel of this wine.
