Grüner Veltliner

The only GRU on Long Island and damn is it a good one!!!

One of our nostalgic favorites from the north fork. One property doing Gruner, and it's one woman. Bright acid, absolutely crisp - the perfect pair with some oysters or Long Island shellfish.

9/21 Very sweet with nice complex apricot and some terroir. But very sweet. 87

6/21 lovely dessert wine with lots of apricot and spice. Sweet. 89

It is my understanding that this is the only producer on LI that produces a GRU V! Nice green notes with a hint of saline. Crisp with balanced acidity. Acceptable

Solid with some local Peconic Bay scallops!
