Dark ruby red. Translucent and pretty attractive in the glass. Smells like a fruit driven Pinot. All the strawberries. Bit of ripe apple perhaps. Flavor is nicely balanced. Hint smokey. Plenty of fruit. Kinda tart. Plenty of lip/tongue smacking dryness. A nice affordable Pinot Noir with a cheesy label that belies the nice wine inside. On all fronts more of a CA style, but it’s a Willamette Valley wine. Sure to please the Pinot head on your list.

The Willamette Valley has really become a powerhouse for Pinot noir lately. Once And It’s Gone is no exception. Classic Pinot Noir characteristics with a hint of brown baking spices.
