Perfect red sauce or pizza wine! Barbera and dolcetto blend. Red fruit with subtle earth, and tart cranberry. So delicious!

Barbera + Dolcetto blend. Definitely the acidity of the Barbera, but softens the tannins of the Dolcetto. Medium bodied, pretty smooth with leather, good fruit, currants, violets. From Amaro Spirits & Wines.

Smooth and not spicy. Get a lot of plum off this

Unusual blend from micro winery as per JR and indeed a lean and texturally firm wine that went well with food

Had this at a restaurant (Roseland’s Atlas). First bottle was off, and the restaurant promptly took care of it with a fresh bottle. Nice Barbera blend, although a bit young.

So smooth. Peppery and slightly tart

Cherry in the nose. Some pepper. Medium tannin. Wish it wasn’t so high in ABV.
