Very well rounded and smooth.. Takes time but gets real complex.

Ripe dark and red fruits. Full bodied with lingering tannins.

You definitely need to give this one a couple minutes to open up as It can be real tight initially. The fruit comes at me in waves. Strawberries and tar, cherries and tar, and then stewed plums. Good body and a pronounced amount of oak. Some mild pepper and liquorice? Good complexity and steely in the mouth.

Really herbaceous. Savory herbs on tart cherries. A stiff structure even now. Elevated acid and alcohol.

An excellent Gigondas with flavors of raisins, figs, and cedar that accompanies a nose of stewed prunes and dark flowers. Needs time to open to maximize the pallet; perhaps an hour or so. Once open, however, this wine rewards you over and over.

Quick to open and drinkable but would benefit from decanting for 30 minutes. Abrupt up front on the pallet but smooth, velvety finish. Medium body. Deep cherry or blackberry. Licorice throughout.
