Very ripe dark and Rainer cherries, strawberries, pomegranate & cranberry juice, strawberry twizzlers, dark dry earth, dark minerals, stronger oak presence for typical burgundian style wines, cinnamon, slight vanilla, spicebox and big chalk. Nice finish, balance and acidity. 10 was warm vintage in Burgundy. Fruit really shines.

Shared this bottle over lunch and only $70 on the wine list, it was worth every penny. Perfectly aged and balanced: Strawberry, cherry, lavender with a touch of pine needles, pencil lead, soft tannins and long finish.
