Clos Saint Marc is a 4.2 acre walled vineyard on a hillside within the 1er Cru Les Vergers on the north border of the appellation overlooking St Aubin and Le Montrachet directly to the north. Olivier Leflaive’s 2010 is stunning. Meyer lemon peel, orange blossom, melon rind, oyster shell, and crushed white rock with racy acidity and enough structure to go the distance.

Olivier Leflaive’s 2010 is stunning. This bottle might even be better than the one I had on Christmas Eve last year. Lime peel, orange blossom, spiced apple, melon rind, oyster shell, and crushed white rock with racy acidity. What a wonderfully delectable pairing with garlic lemon butter scallops.
