Maison Olivier & Lafont was founded in 2011 by Gerald Lafont et Baptiste Olivier. A blend of 50% Grenache Blanc & 50% Clairette. Medium straw color with aromas of tropical & stone fruits and mineral zest. Flavors of pineapple and peaches, flowing acidity, medium length ending with wet stone mineral character. Good value. Tasting Sample.

Nez fruits rouges gourmands, cerise et cassis
Attaque franche, bien équilibré en bouche. Des notes de torréfaction mêlées aux fruits rouges. Une jolie tension. Finale finement amer avec des notes de rafle. Léger pour un gigondas.

A bit flat and non- descript. Kind of like my review.

Purchased from WTSO, good thing for their discount. This wine is a bit flabby and is on the side of sweet (not in a fruit forward way). It is drinkable if served extra cold, but I didn't like it enough to keep the MOQ I had to buy to get the free shipping. I gave it away to my friends who like white zinfandel. It was reasonably acceptable to them.
