Hints of bass slappin funk without going full barnyard. Like Red Hot Chili Peppers late 80's funk. Light, earthy, decent acidity. A little tart upfront like bitter pink grapefruit pith. Medium tannins with a lingering black tea finish. Faint hints of black tart currants. Perfect summer night wine with a platter of good oily charcuterie and cheese. Try it with a slight chill on it which isn't at all taboo.
