No denying Cab Franc is on the up n up and ‘nowadays’ there’s a clear divide between original purist Loire Valley light-bodied-highly-acidic-faint-red-fruited style and the bolder avant garde fuller-bodied-balanced-velvety-complex style. This is the former, rest assured, and an incredible example of it to be clear… No vegetal aftertaste but only subtle hints of all that is good and great and an incredibly food friendly red wine which I’d even pair with oily fish.
