On first sniff, very deep red tones. Can smell some spices, and cherries. On first sip, felt very jammy. Like a raspberry jam. A balanced level of tannins, which was nice. Honestly quite happy with this wine. For a cab Merlot, it is nice. Would go great with a red pasta dish or a steak dinner.
