Bright yellow gold. Nose of baked quince and light butterscotch. Echoed on the full-bodied palate with a good backbone of medium plus acidity wrapped up inside. A rare bird in California Chardonnays in that it gives body, fruit, oak, and food-friendly freshness without overloading in any of them. I’m not always a fan of Wagner family works, but this under-the-radar Chardonnay is actually a good representation of the style. Good enough at regular price, but a steal when it’s on sale. Drink now through 2021.

Tried this again. Golden yellow color with tropical fruit aromas and oily spice. The palate shows basic stone fruits with citrus tang. The wine had too much oak and out of balance. The finish leaves quickly. Pass, better Chards out there at comparable prices. Tasting Sample.

Tons of Malo in the nose and ultra ripe fruit, surprisingly balanced with acidity.
Well worth the $20 price point

This is a very good Chardonnay but I paid $18 and I think I could find an as good bottle for less bucks.

Poor recommendation by the sales guy at Total Wine, but fun time with some of the team at Painting with a Twist! Doesn't pair well with Thai food either :)

Good value Chard. Fruity sweet nose with apples, light citrus and caramel. Big butterscotch palate but still retains overall balance with the hint of fruit.

Slight oak and yellow apple on the nose. Great citrus, pineapple, oily spice, chalk to butter finish. Very pleasant butterscotch after taste. Acids are little too high.

One of the worst wines I've ever tasted. I should know better than to take advice from #totalwineandmore "experts"
