Sharp nose that is very fruit forward. On the palette, it’s a lot smoother than I expected. Cherry and raspberry give way to vegetal, leather, and savory flavors with a touch of vanilla towards the end.

Jul 14th, 2020One of my concerns when I'm about to try almost any Chilean wine, is that it will be too vegetal. Not getting that at all from this one. Full, extracted and chewy black cherry. A bit of cola and tobacco leaf on the finish. Carmenere is certainly an acquired taste. I'm a fan. Inexpensive. Hopefully the Cabernet Sauvignon is on the same page. This was a sample bottle from my sales rep. Might find room for this one. Drinks better than others for similar price.
Good everyday drinker for someone that wants something a little different.
