2010 vintage.
Light ruby with a pale garnet tinge.
Sparse slow legs, medium viscosity.
Aromatic, lifted nose of fresh and stewed red cherries, marasca cherries, bush garden flowers, roses, lavender. Myrtle and mediterranean garrigue after second oxigenation. Sweet spices end the nose impressions.
Dry palate, fresh acidity and elegant melted tannins support a medium persistent body, which confirm notes of wild cherries, warm soil and subtle spices.
Simple, uncomplicated and delicious.

Aromatics are lovely. Cherries, lavender, and spices that I'm not sophisticated enough to identify. The palate needed to evolve. As it opened its original austere was relaxed into a well balanced feller. Tannins were still a bit gripping overall.

Stemmy and peppery bright red fruit flavors with subtle meaty tannin building.

Tart red fruit, cherry, raspberry. Light-bodied. Spice, tannic taste lingers and never quite smooths out with time. Went well with charcuterie, but still did not particularly enjoy.

Very balanced together with sirloin and clove potatoes and different sauces. Smooth and berry in the beginning and a rich and supportive ending.
