Mid Gold. Quite a rich colour for a 2016. A little Lychee on the nose but overall lacks varietal Gewürztraminer character. Very Dry. I was interested to compare with what I think are the best Gewürztraminer in Australia in Toppers Mountain and Symphony Hill both sourcing fruit from Toppers Vineyard near Inverell. Ochota is a quality wine but the Medals go to the other 2. The Symphony was the Champion White of the Toowoomba Wine Show a few weeks ago.

2015 is rocking. Beautiful lychee, rose water and apple. So fresh on the nose. Great texture and focus. Gorgeous wine
