Wow. Pleasantly surprised by this beauty. Total fruit-forward style, but elegant in its nuance and complexity. Once the massive blackberry and blueberry subsided, cassis and vanilla and oak and hints of tobacco set in. Very, very good.

So good I had to get another. This time around I'm really noticing the fruit aspects, especially on the nose. I want to say cherry, but it's not quite that. Pretty much consistent with the last bottle.

Dark and sweet, oaky with medium-high tannins. Not a complex as I'd hoped, but still enjoyable.
