Do you prefer SBS or SSB? Or do you go both ways 😜
This 2020 SBS is from Oakover Wines in Perth’s Swan Valley wine region (thanks for the sample guys!). The grapes 🍇 for this one are from Margaret River and they suggest enjoying it with shellfish, aromatic rice dishes or soft cheese. Yum 🤤
I teamed it with a gas heater and Mr Spittoon. An equally enjoyable pairing 💕
It’s a pale lemon lime colour on the eye. While on the nose it straight away made me think of old fashioned lemonade with hints of florals, pear and passionfruit. In the kisser it’s juicy, fruity and incredibly easy drinking with a nice zip of acidity. Great fish’n’chips wine I reckon 👌
This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
