Pretty amazing British bubbles. Good age on this. Golden in colour. Nice structure and acid... rich yeast toast apples.

Pale gold with plenty of tiny bubbles. Fine perlage and a creamy mousse. The nose is toasty and marked with delicate floral notes. Apple bramble, cream, and mushrooms. There’s the customary yeast notes as well with fresh brioche bread. Notes of honey and nectarines abound.

62/30/8 CH/PN/PM and that Chardonnay definitely is at the forefront. Crisp acidity throughout with solid structure and impeccable balance. Bottled in the middle of 2016 and disgorged on 6/11/19, an impressive amount of time on lees for their entry offering. They label this as a multi vintage with the majority of the wine coming from the 2015 vintage and some coming from reserves as far back as 2009.

The palate follows the nose with more baked apples and pears. The depth, length, and pristine nature of this bubbly is highly impressive. A benchmark of English sparkling wine for a very good reason.
