Santa Lucia Highlands Syrah

So powerful even after 12 years. I mean it still has another decade or so in it no problem.

Earthy, funky - cooler climate

Big fat rich nose of sweet red fruits meets mouthful luscious currants blackberries, raspberries and a touch of acidity all balanced together. Each sip leaves you wanting more. Tremendous effort. Drink now. Probably has 2-5 more years were it will be this good before the acidity will take hold and bring it to a new dimension.

Some pleasant bright red fruit and dry floral to lift darker and pepper

En magnum. Lovely, lithe and spooky earthy on Halloween.

Loving the Santa Lucia highlands

Good but not great

Pitch black, heavy, and super extracted. Lifted blue and black fruit, but very ripe.

Nice and fruity very yummy

Everyone knows Adam and his Pinots, but he is a serious master of Syrah as well. If you factor in value, it's near perfect.
