Solid bottle of wine, cherry tobacco and hint tar. Not super complex, but man for the money a killer bottle of juice!

2005 - all day decant

Yessir.

It seemed soft and fruity at first but the wine balances out to a dry, medium body in my opinion

Had the 2012. Very approachable and balanced.

2011

Very nice and smooth taste. Smell and taste of raisins, cherry. Perfect to drink now. Don't store any longer. It was very well suited to a locally produced fillet of beef with garlic butter on the top.

Ripe fresh cherry, strawberry and licorice on the nose. Carries through perfectly to the palate, with extremely fine grain tannin. Long and true finish.

2009 vintage. Sweet on the palate, slightly weird on the nose at first although some aeration in the glass smoothens it out - cherry, plum
