Nice wine. I know I should have waited longer to open but I wanted a decent wine to open with dinner and this delivered. This is definitely Merlot dominant. Nicely balanced with the two Cabs though. Hold another couple of years and this will smooth out nicely.

Full body. Plum, currant and black cherry flavor that needs a juicy steak to complement. @Jody Scharf “Hollah” for Walla Walla

On the nose, sweet fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, blue fruits, black plum, black raspberries, strawberries. Vanilla, soft spice, caramel, mocha powder, pepper and nice dark florals. The M+ tannins are very velvety. Fruits are; blackberries, dark cherries, blue fruits, black plum, black raspberries & strawberries. Leather, palate intensifying spices, mocha powder, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, dry top soil, dry crushed rocks, dry stems, dry stones, black soil, pepper, nice, round acidity and a rich, round, lush, balanced finish that lasts. Photos of, the backside of the estate building, the concrete eggs they are using experimentally with their Cabernet & their wine blending visitors room.

A delicious blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, this Walla Walla red makes an excellent cocktail wine, with bright cherry and mocha flavors.

I always open these too early but I am impatient. Decent blend. Smooths out a little too much. Kind of peters out at the end though. This one is not my favorite.

Served on a night where multiple bottles of highly-rated wines were served. This wine is the one that drew the ooohs and aaahs from the guests. A beautiful glass of dark red velvet.
