Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Blend of 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, deep far Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, sweet spice and spice notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry, plum and currants with notes of cacao and salty spice. Grippy chalky tannins, long finish ending with ripe fruit character. Very nice! Wait a few years to enjoy.

This was tasting very good. Smooth but still had some fruit on it. Pepper was very slight but still there. Great with our beef stew.

Nearly flawless Columbia Valley Cab, with well balanced tannins and a medium-large body.

100% Cabernet sourced from the Anna Marie and Loess vineyards. On the nose; really nice red & dark florals, baking spices, spice, core of black currants, ruby blackberries, black cherries, black plum, black licorice, tarry notes and dark florals. The body & tannins are M+ with a nice velvety mouthfeel. Blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, black raspberries with cherries painting the background. Lifting spices that rise with heated intensity, pepper, violets, crushed dry rocks, soft leather and hints of tobacco. Acidity is nicely well rounded. The long, rich, polished, finish has nice structure, length, tension & balance.

Lots of dark fruit flavors with hints of chocolate. Very Big fruit flavors with almost a "tinge of sweetness." Almost seems "Zinfandel like" in some ways. Smooth tannins and easy to drink. Good quality but not what I expected. Best when decanted for at least an hour.

A different follow up to the prior vintage, this Cab is full of dried currant and smooth coffee flavors.

Young but delicious with dark cherries, thick tannins, and a dusting of coffee. Decant for best results.

Though the winery focuses on Merlot, this is their flagship bottling.
Dark and brooding with lingering eucalyptus and graphite notes. At year 10 it has shaved off the hard edges yet still retains power. Peaking now but should have another 5-8 years drinking window.
100% cab. 20 months in mostly French barrels, 50% new.
