Let's be honest, this isn't a great pinot. It's Central Otago, it says 'Reserve', it has a few years on it...it promises good things. But it has a rather closed nose and, more disturbingly, it's spritzy on the tongue. And not in a good way. Yeah it's pretty robust and could work with red meats, but I wouldn't rush out for it. Vinomofo bargain - glad I didn't pay anything close to full price (and I still may send them back).
