Feb 26th, 2016The 2012 - still just a baby -- last taste is on the third night after opening. Rich, caramel/resin under fresh yellow apple, lemon, with stones and minerals on the lingering finish. Still vibrant after all that time open. Continues to amaze and gratify.

Dec 29th, 2014Medium gold colour. On the nose apricot, lemon, butter, fresh cream and chalk. As it opens, up hints of mango and pie crust show themselves. Dry, medium (+) acidity, medium (-) alcohol. On the palate, a tropical start transform into apple and lemon zest, then burnt caramel lingers long after swallowing. All this is tied together with sustained saline and gravel minerality. This wine is very complex and long.

Feb 16th, 2018Soooo wish this was less expensive. Picked some up at the winery in PEC a couple of years ago after tasting. Decided it was time to give one a go. Lovely straw colour with bits of vanilla with the apple and pear and some chalkey minerals. An excellent wine. The cuvée of Niagara and PEC grapes also very good, but also a wee bit dear in terms of price.. Want to support ON wines, but the Scotsman in me puckers up at the prices relative to wines produced further afield. Love this guy's offerings though.
