Nice Chenin Blanc. I've had now both the Grand Reserv, as well as the entry Vouvray ("V"), and this one actually came off as semi-sweet vs an off-dry which is what I didn't expect. High acidity, with wildflower scents, a lovely honeysuckle and creme on the nose and pallet, canned pears, ripe apricot, and golden apples. Paired nicely with a creamy goat cheese and other soft cheeses I had on a plate.

Jul 27th, 2015Honeyed with a humungous bouquet. Straw yellow appearance. This a good wine but not my favorite varietal. Did we finally find something that will please the mother in law?

Jan 21st, 2016Sweet (honey notes) but not cloying. Ripe apricots and peaches with a little flower on the nose. After the sweetness subsides, the finish reveals a little acidity, and decent body that fills the mouth. Serve very cold.
