Nice Chenin Blanc. I've had now both the Grand Reserv, as well as the entry Vouvray ("V"), and this one actually came off as semi-sweet vs an off-dry which is what I didn't expect. High acidity, with wildflower scents, a lovely honeysuckle and creme on the nose and pallet, canned pears, ripe apricot, and golden apples. Paired nicely with a creamy goat cheese and other soft cheeses I had on a plate.

I was taken aback by the sweetness, which I don’t care for personally in white wines or rosés. The nose is nice—like half floral, half honeyed apricot, and I do love honey!

Honeyed with a humungous bouquet. Straw yellow appearance. This a good wine but not my favorite varietal. Did we finally find something that will please the mother in law?
