A wine I'm not familiar with - great treat from a guest at the wine dinner I am hosting!

Gamey, blueberries, leather, smoke, cranberry, leaves, earth. So freaking cool.

2014 No Girls Grenache. “Great Wine, No Tricks” Absolutely killer! I was a little concerned about opening this one so soon, but WOW! Totally open for business. Much more approachable than a Cayuse of similar vintage. Probably the absolute best QPR I can think of. If you get the opportunity, buy, buy, buy.

2012. Pop n pour the menthol smell was so strong and it tasted like medicine. 20 minutes later this girl was singing beautifully . So smooth . Structured and tons of flavor

2011 vintage; stewed strawberries as noted in a review of 2010 rings true, accompanied by a slightly rustic dried apricot. Slightly lacking in acidity and cut, almost getting a bit of a viognierlike floral thing

2010| I hope I haven't proclaimed this aloud recently as I would hate to sound insincere, but I'm about to shout from the tabletop that this is quite possibly [one of] the best Grenache I have ever tasted. Ever. It is for forresty, funky, rustic yet elegant, true, balanced in all components. This will leave a lasting impression and possibly ruin me for other Grenache.
