Dornleiten Riesling

Pretty sure this is my last bottle. Great nose of lime leaf, lilac blossom, stone. Aging well. Great. Quality, not very expensive, age-able Reisling.

Tastes like gruner, silvaner and riesling all wrapped up one. I wouldn't want to blind this wine but very delicious nonetheless!

Delicious on day one, two and three. Wish I had bought more than 6 as this will have a long life and I can't resist it. Prefect with homemade crab cakes and sleeping babies.

Rich like Alsace, clean like Germany. Very pure precise Riesling from Kremstal.

"Well that's acidic," said someone at the table. Lean, austere, crystalline. All about the rocky minerality and acid here while being incredibly refreshing. Almost seemed like a Grüner at times. As it opened up, some floral, spicy, petrol, and fruit character showed, but it remained in the background.

So much acid! Wish I could have let this one develop over time.

Da bomb. This is weighty, dense and rich yet light and delicate too. An amazing balance that only #reisling seems to be able to pull off.

After complaints of my absence, I'm back, fierce as ever. Geeking out on Austrian whites this fall. This one got me in a sentimental mood. Crunchy rocks and lime pith - yeah
