Funky natural wine from niepoort. Amphora red made of red and white grapes aged in amphora separately and blended in that joyful, fun light red. The nose shows small red berries, pomegranate, a bit of sulfur, and a bit of chalk. The palate is fresh, juicy, playful, simple with some great acid drive, some red berries and strawberry notes all along, a gentle, chalky mouthfeel before a gentle tannic wall in the rear. The finish is small red berries, strawberry, and pomegranate. This is extremely quaffable... it comes in 1l bottles.
