Jun 20th, 2021Drinking the 2013 in 2018. Deep dark rich color. Thick legs that stay on the glass. Rich bouquet, full of cassis, cherry, plum and berry with an earthy finish. Smooth flavor with very low tannins. Big flavor, full of cherry, blackberry and plum with oak on the finish. Great wine!

Best nickel and nickel I've had. Unbelievable acidity. Lovely tannins. Subtle black tea finish. Dynamic black fruit. Nice red fruit balance. Cinnamon notes. Grass. Graphite. This is a fantastic wine.

Jan 21st, 2017Low Fruit, vines grown on volcanic soil. Almost has a beautiful ash or smoke quality emerging from it, this is a wine that should age for a while, tannins are nice and exposed.
