Subtle wine. Nice fruit and not overdone. Long finish. Apple. Needs a few years. I always like aged Chardonnay from this winery.

Fruity and crisp in the beginning. After taste is more like a chardonnay. Delicious and easy.

Oaky and undistinguished. You can find many California Chardonnays that taste better, have more finesse and structure, and cost less, Chalone and Sonoma-Cutrer among them. For a similar price point, I would choose Chateau Montelena over this every time.

Tasting Notes
The 2013 Nickel & Nickel Medina Vineyard Chardonnay offers delicate aromas of flowers and spice, with flavors of Muscat, pear and lemon rind expressed on the palate. The lemon-lime acidity is refreshing, along with hints of stone and spicy oak. The fruit notes are forward upon entry with a nice balance that becomes dry on the finish, beckoning for another sip.

Honey and mineral. Long lingering finish. Good acidity. A little bity due to higher Al. 14.5%. Lovely bouquet.
