On the palate blackberry, plum and sweet cherry flavors with notes of pepper, smoke and sweet herbs. Approachable silky tannins, long ending with a fine sweet smoky cedar and earthy character. Very nice has room to age for a decade or so. Pair this with a USDA Prime!!

Ina vertical with the 2018, this was a really nice wine but paled in comparison to the 2018. This has a silkier mouth feel and dense dark red and brambly fruit that is more compacted than balanced. Delicious it is own right and with food.
