I can't figure Nickel & Nickel out. Single vineyard grapes managed by Far Niente (one of my favorite wineries in Napa). Beautiful label, a cork that rivals Caymus Special Selection in size & quality, and deep ruby color with an amazingly floral nose. But after having at least a case of their wines over many vintages and vineyards, I do not find them to be worth the premium they sell for. I have been fortunate in that my sister and good friend are wine club members. So I have had the privilege to taste a lot. So it pains me to say ... These wines are not worth the price. Stick to their Estate Grown Far Niente, which (other than 2009) has been consistently fantastic. Cheers!
