Drank at dad’s with his ribs from Pettys. Very good pairing with ribs. Probably near the end of life, but still very good.

Not your typical Zin, very fruit up front, raspberry, tart red cherry, some spice but very smooth finish, not what I expected, but very good. I do miss the spicy, peppery Zin of the past.

broke out one from the cellar after a trying weekend. 2005 drinking so so lovely -- dark fruit, wild berry and spice on the long finish. cheers! ☀️
