Tasted blind and thought it might be an old world chenin, the nose evokes sherry in its oxidative qualities, but the palate bursts with lemon and a touch of yellow apples. The lees stirring is really evident on this though, which leads to a creamy sort of mouthfeel. Doesn't taste exactly like a Napa chardonnay, which is what I like about it.
