Full bodied and bold with medium acidity.
Dry and very fruity on the palate.
Showing blackberries, raisins, dried figs, vanilla, cola, cedar, milk chocolates, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, light vinaigrette and Mediterranean spices.
This 9 year old Cabernet Sauvignon is showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Elegant and fruity.
Rich and extracted. Complex and interesting. A great sipping wine to have all by itself. Just gorgeous.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
Will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard, were aged in New French oak barrels for 19 months. A small production of only 6 barrels.

Our last bottle. Really smoothed out. We decanted and it was still a little tight but still fabulous. Green pepper on the end. Nice wine.

Aug 7th, 2016Probably opened a bit too early but it was my birthday so oh well :) definitely decant. Smelled cranberry off the bat and then it changed into a very smooth Cab. Very nice with the burgers we had.
