May 1st, 2020Similar tasting notes. Blackberry, plum and currant flavors mixed with notes of tobacco and dark chocolate. The tannins creep up on you and still pack a punch. Has a lot of life left. Needs to breathe or a good decant. Might have overrated just a hair last time.

Mar 22nd, 2017Haven't touched this for 18 months. Patience has been nicely rewarded. Blackberry and plum fruit, complimented by tobacco and dark chocolate notes. Good structure and backbone, with a long, mouth-puckering, loamy finish. Has come around nicely.
