Wine Club and Social Media Manager Spring Mountain Vineyard
9.2
I was very pleasantly surprised by this wine, only because I picked it up in a friends and family sales so my expectations weren't super high. Lush body, well integrated oak, quality mountain fruit, it probably deserved a better occasion than my Wednesday night pasta and meatballs!

First words out of my new-to-wine daughter’s mouth - Smells like nail polish remover. And she was right. Big blast of alcohol right off the bat. Checked bottle. 15.5%. Had to give it time for it to blow off. Nice after some time.

A tasty Napa Bordeaux blend, well made, slightly high toned and pushing the acidic side of the spectrum. That’s said, was quite enjoyable, but there are certainly others that are at least comparable if not better at this price point.
