2016 vintage, too good to age, but I wish I could. Cabernet Franc stands out. Great blend and always a treasure to drink.

Love this wine! Berries on the nose, many complex flavors on the palate and such smooth finish with velvet tannins. Earth, coffee, beautiful.

The main event of a fabulous Christmas dinner of Beef Wellington prepared and cooked by a gourmet Brazilian chef and family member. This Boudeaux style red labeled “Puzzle” is produced in the prestigious Newton Spring Mountain district of Napa. Its name “Puzzle” so aptly describes this wine because it’s so vibrant in the mouth with tastes of currants, wild berries, nutmeg, earth, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco and ripe plum that one doesn’t know where to begin. Deep garnet in color, with intoxicating aromas of berries and coffee, perfectly balanced, textured yet silky smooth tannins and velvety long legs one doesn’t know how to describe it other than saying it is a wonderful “Puzzle”. My remaining bottles are going back in storage not to be touched for another five years. 14% alc/vol
