Good Merlot. Very spicy on the nose. The 2012 vintage was a smidge too early even for merlot. Felt tannins on back of tongue. I'd wait at least a year or decant for 3 hrs if you crack 2012 in 15.

Stellenbosch merlot with subdued, but present fruit and good minerality. Finishes with a hint of the eucalyptus that is grown all over the Cape. Not your mom's merlot. Good value.
