Jan 1st, 2020Bright straw gold. Nose and palate of green fig and dried grass. Medium plus acidity is in check and wrapped in a medium light body. This could be your next SB. Enjoy with typical white wine foods.

Dec 2nd, 2018Bright straw gold. Shy nose of lemongrass, ripe fig, and satsuma. Echoed on the medium full-bodied palate with a medium long finish and that classic South African “oiliness” (that’s a plus, folks!). Personally, I find SA Sauvignon to be much more food friendly than its NZ counterpart, and this is no exception. Greens, roots, and flowers (think capers) will pair well as will standard white wine fare.

Oct 13th, 2018If you haven't tried South African wines, you're missing out. Their whites are clean, well done, and enjoyable. This is a unique Sauvignon Blanc, with plenty of fundamental grapefruit flavor resonating throughout. Plentiful apricot jam, grass clippings, and lime zest make up an interesting nose. The pallet exhibits notes of ripe apricots, over ripe grapefruit, minerals, lemon juice, and an acidic, clean finish. Overall I thought this was a great value wine while being different from the norm. Pair with arugula salad, light citrus vinaigrette, goat cheese, and pear. (Great wine to serve with appetizers and salad to begin the meal)

Apr 18th, 2016Very refreshing, nice acid bite, good citrus fruit and quite grassy. Not a subtle wine but good character and great value. 2020

Aug 24th, 2020This is the flinty, acidic Sauv I’ve been looking for. Super bright; dry, sour fruit. Like biting into a green apple.
