Greco di Tufo

This wine is exceptional. That’s it.

Tried this when visiting Purdue at Wine Cellar Bistro in Lafayette. Brought home their last bottle. Enjoyed whole cooking dinner last night. We’ve really been trying and enjoying more of Southern Italian wines.

Color of clear egg white. Nose of spice, strength of alcohol, buttery creamy custard, Sprite, and a bit saline. The nose fades away fast especially the fruits notes. Taste is thin, drizzled with some young strawberry, a bit zesty peel, but overall quite average. Aftertaste of some hotness at the throat. Not too impressed by her.

Very smooth. Beautiful light straw color.

Fresh, white berries, barbaris, goosberry

Pretty pale straw color with fresh, citrusy aromas. Notes of apricots and peaches, with just a tad bit of nuttiness. Nice minerality with crisp acidity.

First nose is like a peppermint patty...no kidding. Plummy and pleasant finish. Unique.

Crisp and refreshing...

Great with an improvised Mediterranean pasta with eggplant, squash, raisins, pine nuts, and feta.
