This is a Zinfandel, Spanish Creek Ranch Vineyard. Tasting excellent now. Really well balanced with dark fruits, forest floor, eucalyptus, and great tannin. I highly recommend for a full bodied zin without the heat or dark chocolate/jam that a lot tend to have. I’m guessing this is what zin tastes like in CA prior to the hedonistic wine movement.
